Host families are responsible for three main objectives: providing a stable Homelife, housing, and providing support for the student’s academic life as well.

MEET DIMAS!
Dimas is a 17-year-old boy who enjoys the outdoors, sports, and technology. His family and friends consider his optimism and joyful personality some of his best traits. He is eager to start a journey in America!
MEET LAURA!
Laura is a 14 year-old girl who is excited to experience an American lifestyle. She is optimistic, hardworking, sociable, and responsible. Some of her passions include gymnastics, volleyball, cooking, and dance.
MEET NIL!
Nil is a 14 year-old boy who is easy-going, sociable, and studious. Some of his passions include painting, photography, martial arts, drawing and travel. Nil has also won awards in both 3D design and photography, and is very excited to study abroad and live in the US!

01. Do we receive any payment for being a host family?
Because we rely on volunteer host families, there is no monetary payment. However, the experience and connections are fruitful rewards that last a lifetime! Other benefits include: a host family’s child may be eligible for a discount with our study abroad program in the future. Families may also be eligible for a tax deduction after hosting an international student.
02. How do I apply to become a host family?
Potential host families may apply through our website, and fill out the introductory application form to take the next step in the application process. Scroll down to the “get started” button to start the application process!
03. What is the international student selection process like?
Host families will be able to choose their student based on our profiles of the potential international students. The profiles sent to host families include information regarding the student’s age, gender, hobbies, and nationality.
04. Can I host more than 1 student?
Yes! Host families are more than welcome to host up to 2 students!
